ATC Healthcare Services, LLC of Nassau County is seeking compassionate, caring, and dedicated School Nurses to serve the staffing needs of our schools. ATC Nassau County has an IMMEDIATE NEED for a Registered School Nurse (RN) in Nassau County, NY. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RN looking to make a difference in the lives of children while enjoying a flexible schedule. Position Details: Location: Nassau County, NY Pay Rate: $44.00- 47.00/hr Schedule: Per Diem Shift Hours: Availability for holidays, weekends, and evening shifts is highly preferred. Responsibilities: Professional, medical treatment of students Early detection of physical problems and health evaluations Disease prevention Promoting programs on health-education and immunization Maintaining clinical records Coordinating vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments Providing emergency aid to students and school staff Assisting teachers in instructing students in health and nutrition education Aiding in student transport Qualifications: Active RN license in the state of New York. CPR & First Aid certification required. Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or public health setting preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
