Job Description:
Bergen New Bridge, a not-for-profit safety net facility,

across a broad field of functions. Salary is $16.50/hour. We can
provide up to 40 hours per week work schedules. Come join our
winning team for the Summer of 2026! The Occupational Medicine
Intern will gain valuable exposure to the clinical, operational,
and public health aspects of occupational and employee health
within a healthcare system. Under the supervision of the Medical
Director and the Employee Occupational Health team, the intern will
support initiatives aimed at promoting workforce health, workplace
safety, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities may include
assisting with quality improvement projects related to employee
health programs, supporting data collection and analysis for
occupational health initiatives, creating and updating departmental
policies and procedures, and contributing to special projects
focused on program development, operational efficiency, and
regulatory compliance. Additionally, the intern may conduct
literature reviews on workplace health topics and help develop
educational resources and program evaluations. This internship will
provide valuable insights into occupational medicine operations and
culminate in a brief presentation summarizing project findings and
recommendations. Preferred Qualifications: • Undergraduate or
graduate student with an interest in medicine, public health,
healthcare administration, occupational health, or related fields •
Strong organizational, research, and analytical skills • Strong
written and verbal communication skills • Experience using
Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint • Interest in healthcare systems, workforce health, or
public health programs • Ability to work independently and
collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Education Must have
completed at least Freshman year of College/Trade School. High
School Diploma Required
