Job Description:
Bergen New Bridge, a not-for-profit safety net facility,

suites, physical rehabilitation, pharmacy, laboratory, radiologic

Equality Index (HEI). BNBMC is looking to hire paid summer interns
across a broad field of functions. Salary is $16.50/hour. We can
provide up to 40 hours per week work schedules. Come join our
winning team for the Summer of 2026! Assigned tasks and duties: 1.
Assist help with operational tasks and ordering / stocking supplies
2. Data collection: per diem staff fulfilling their work
commitments, call out, enter data in an excel template, maintain
logs, update schedules, send reminders to staff, help with audits
and monthly reports 3. Enhance patient experience: patient rounding
and providing comfort items, engaging and attending to patients
during busy times 4. Support Nurses and Leaders administratively:
updating whiteboard, help prepare staff education material, writing
meeting agenda, taking meeting minutes and assist with follow up 5.
Participating in departmental education: Assist educators with
in-services and presentations, track competency completions and
file forms 6. Organize papers and closets, scan documents, upload
forms, assemble binders 7. Clerical tasks, answering phone calls
and routing calls, running errands, help preparing admission and
discharge packages, assisting with labeling shelves, binders,
storage bins 8. Strengthen the pathway for future nurses: shadowing
nurses and through early exposure to the nursing profession an
experience will be provided that eases the transition into the
nursing role. Education Must have completed at least Freshman year
of College/Trade School. High School Diploma Required
