Job Description:
Supervisor – Home Based Crisis Intervention Program This is a
compelling leadership opportunity for a clinician looking to make a
high-impact, community-based difference in South Queens. As the
Supervisor for the Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Program,
you would be at the forefront of preventing pediatric
hospitalizations and stabilizing families in acute distress. The
Home-Based Crisis Intervention (HBCI) Program provides intensive,
short-term crisis intervention and family education services for
children ages 5–20. The goal: to stabilize acute psychiatric crises
and prevent hospitalization. In partnership with the NYC Department
of Health and Mental Hygiene, our mobile, in-home team delivers
services including crisis response, treatment planning,
psychoeducation, therapy, case management, and community referrals.
Role Snapshot Compensation: $95,000 – $110,000 (Full-Time)
Schedule: Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) Location: Queens, NY (Requires
local travel) Population: Children and youth ages 5–20 and their
families. Core Responsibilities This role balances clinical
oversight with operational leadership : Clinical Supervision:
Providing direct case consultation and "side-by-side" field visits
to support staff in the home environment. Operational Management:
Leading clinical meetings, managing day-to-day program flow, and
collaborating with the Program Director on strategic growth.
Community Engagement: Acting as the face of the program at
community functions and maintaining outreach networks. Key
Qualifications The hospital is looking for a licensed professional
who is culturally and linguistically equipped for the community:
Licensure: Must hold a valid NYS license (LCSW, LMSW, Psychologist,
LMHC, LMFT, or LCAT). Language: Bilingual in Spanish is required.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in EHR systems and mental health
screening tools like ACES and the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating
Scale. Mobility: A valid NYS Driver’s license is essential for
