Job Description:

Albany Medical Center seeks a dedicated RN-Education Specialist-Clinical to enhance our educational programs aimed at improving clinical competencies across our healthcare system. This role involves developing, coordinating, and delivering high-impact training modules and continuous education programs for nursing staff and clinical teams. The specialist will work closely with hospital leaders and clinicians to assess training needs and impact on patient care, integrating the latest clinical practices and research into learning and development initiatives. Assess educational needs and design curriculum to enhance clinical competencies. Deliver hands-on clinical training and workshops. Develop educational materials and online modules for continuous learning. Collaborate with clinical leaders to integrate latest research and best practices into trainings. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make improvements. Strong clinical knowledge and skills. Experience in curriculum development and adult education. Ability to mentor and inspire. Proficiency in using educational technology and e-learning platforms. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license. Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) or similar preferred.
