Locums - Bridgeport, Connecticut, NP/PA Cardiothoracic Job Start : Late July (FMLA coverage) Coverage Duration

Temporary coverage during FMLA leave (ongoing length TBD)

Schedule
  • 3-4 days per week
  • 10-hour shifts
  • Call: unlikely / not expected
Practice Setting

Hospital-based Cardiothoracic Surgery service

Clinical Responsibilities
  • First assist in the operating room
  • Outpatient office visits
  • Inpatient management including:
    • Rounding
    • Admissions
    • Discharges
Case Mix / Procedures
  • Thoracic (non-cardiac) surgery required
  • Robotic surgery experience required
  • Primarily minimally invasive procedures
  • Foregut surgery
  • Lung surgery
Requirements
  • Experience in thoracic surgery (non-cardiac)
  • Robotic surgery experience (required)
  • Ability to function independently across OR, clinic, and inpatient settings
  • Flu vaccination required
