Clinical Shift Schedule: 3 x 13-hr shifts per week, 6a - 7p, no nights, no holidays
Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered (billable)

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults
Rounding: Daily rounding with residents

FACILITY INFORMATION

EMR System: Epic

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Credentialing Timeline: 90 days

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Inpatient neurosurgery patient management
Rounding with residents and care planning
Order entry and discharge planning
Preferred: Removal of Hemovac/JP drains

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active MA license required, not willing to license
Board: Board Certified in Neurosurgery required
Experience: Minimum 1 year of neurosurgery experience

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Round with residents to assess and plan patient care
Enter and manage patient orders
Coordinate discharge planning
Remove drains (Hemovac/JP) as needed
Collaborate with attending neurosurgeons and residents
