Are you ready to go beyond?Pratt & Whitney Cold Section Engineering is seeking a goal oriented, detail focused project engineer to work for the Adaptive Fan Team as a Scrum Team Product Owner. The selected Candidate will be the CIPT focal responsible for task execution on Fan static hardware. This position requires leadership, communication skills, and project management experience.Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and lead an Integrated Product Team to meet technical requirements and hardware deliveries.
  • Plan and manage budget for all hardware and tasks and delivery of those tasks to plan.
  • Prepare and present status and technical content to CIPT.
  • Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Lead cost reduction and sustainment initiatives.
  • Process Class 1 and Class 2 engineering changes as needed.
  • Coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information.
  • 10% of travelBasic Qualifications:
    • BS degree in Engineering w/5+ years related experience OR
    • MS degree in Engineering w/3+ years related experience
    • US Citizenship required for government contractsPreferred Qualifications:
      • Experience working in the Aerospace Industry, and Jet engines in particular would be highly desirable.
      • Previous Project Management experience
      • Previous Military programs experience a plus
      • Previous Agile and scrum experience a plus
