We offer professional development, tuition reimbursement, and career pathways that allow you to develop your career while an Oak Hill employee.About this Position:Under the direct supervision of the Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter works collaboratively with management to fill vacancies which occur in community residences, day programs, education programs supported employment programs, and in the organization in general and meets hiring goals in keeping with the Oak Hill mission. This incumbent will have contact with internal parties, including human resources staff, staff in the organization in general, program participants, applicants, and other external parties.Minimum Requirements--- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.--- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems is required.--- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.Responsibilities--- Sources, recruits, and evaluates talent by using databases, online employment forums, social media platforms, etc.to ensure hiring leaders experience timely, and customer-focused integrated recruitment services. The successful candidate will have experience leading recruitment projects and has demonstrated success in delivering exceptional recruiting services in a high volume environment.--- Gains familiarity with site needs and descriptions and works collaboratively with site managers and may visit sites in order to screen applicants for open positions and to facilitate the efficient hiring of qualified applicants.--- Determines hiring criteria for filling vacancies by reviewing job descriptions and analyzing job requirements; Initiates and participates in recruiting activities using varied avenues such as staff referrals, advertising, job services, educational institutions among others, to ensure that a broad cross-section of individuals are considered for vacancies. Organizes and attends job fairs throughout the state.--- Generates applicant pool by writing current, attractive, creative advertisements and job postings based on hiring criteria, and by being prompt, proactive, and responsive.--- Evaluates applicants' qualifications and suitability in accordance with all pre- and post-employment requirements, including but not limited to, conducting interviews, reference checks, registry checks, police, DCF and other relevant checks to ensure that each applicant is thoroughly screened.
