The North America Payroll Delivery Operations Senior Manager is responsible for oversight of all phases of the semi-monthly payroll cycle ensuring the accuracy of payroll calculations and working under time constraints for US and Canada. This role provides leadership and direction to the Payroll Operation team ensuring payroll services operate smoothly, pay people accurately, is in compliance, and standard metrics and continuous improvements are applied.In addition, this person is responsible for overseeing responses to technical payroll questions, explaining policies, procedures, and resolving issues. This person also: approves payroll adjustments (including but not limited to; retroactive pay adjustments, overtime adjustments, and employee terminations); ensures compliance with Federal, State, Local and Provincial regulations, policies, and procedures; ensures a strong and cohesive vendor relationship. This person must demonstrate the business acumen to collaborate with other Accenture Corporate Functions and leaders and exhibit a high degree of customer service in handling employee and leadership inquiries.
