Job Description:

our team! Reporting directly to the Senior HR Manager and
supporting our East ADE region, the business partner is an
experienced HR professional, who has a broad experience in human
resources. The partner builds a valuable relationship with internal
customers and transfers requests and solutions to/from the plant,
support functions, shared services and corporate. The partner
supports and works collaboratively with the SR HR Manager. The
partner actively supports discussions and transfers HR best
practices to and from different plants and functions in the
organization. The Partner assesses and anticipates HR-related needs
communicating proactively with the HR department and their
designated HR Region to develop integrated solutions that reflect
the business objectives of the organization. Major
Responsibilities:
- Acts as a single point of the contact for the employees and
managers in the HR Region
- Proactively supports the delivery of HR Processes
- Manages complex and difficult HR Projects
cross-functionally
- Builds a strong business relationship with the internal
customers to include operations, SSC, support functions, and
corporate
- Manages workers comp issues in coordination with the safety
team and bring timely resolution to claims
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with
support from Sr. HR Manager. Conducts effective, thorough, timely
and objective investigations.
- Build effective relationships with employees and provide
seamless HR support to line management
- Provide leadership and expertise in the delivery of HR services
to your site, including employee relations, compensation,
engagement and organizational design/change, recruiting and
selection
- Work with line management team to determine departmental needs
and execute accordingly
- Lead, leverage and improve HR processes within the business
(Performance Management, Salary Planning/Reward Management,
Succession Planning and Talent Management), cross-functional
communication
- Implement and drive HR initiatives that contribute to the
development and execution of the 'people agenda' for the
business
- Partner with line management to deliver leadership that
sponsors optimum engagement of employees while actively managing
headcount targets and assisting in budget management
- Ensure a dynamic pipeline of talent through rigorous
performance management, coaching and development of employees,
candid and timely performance feedback
- Serve as an employee advocate, balancing fair labor
standards
- Advise managers on talent management programs, skill gap
analysis, and individual career development
- Analyze and report on HR data to help shape and influence
business decisions We are seeking candidates with the following
qualifications: -
- This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements,
therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident
Card Holder.
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in Business Administration, Human
Resources, Organizational Psychology or a related discipline in
which business knowledge and an understanding of human resource
practices are gained); PHR preferred
- Minimum five years of increasing HR generalist responsibility,
i.e. must have touched several of the key areas of HR supporting a
business: handling employee relations, compensation decisions,
recruiting and performance management
- Multisite experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions, evaluate
people, manage conflicting priorities; ability to positively
influence management and the capability to work effectively with
all levels of the organization
- Outstanding communication, coaching, influencing and
interpersonal skills
- Process and detail oriented, including strong organizational
and prioritization skills;
- 'Systems savvy' - comfortable with use of IT in HR, and
automation
- Sound knowledge of US Federal and State labor laws. Bodycote
