Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills to join a growing team which provides Managed Services for over 50 customers with global distribution. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of success in a similar/previous role and have the ability to learn new skills within a fast paced environment. Possessing a can-do attitude they will be able to manage their own workload in conjunction with other team members to ensure that all SLAs are being met within relevant timescales. In return, they will be provided with a workload that varies from day to day and could span over a number of different technical roles/areas. Overall, this is an exciting role based within a challenging, yet rewarding environment and the successful candidate will be provided with excellent opportunities for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

? Prioritizing enquiries/problems across different customers to meet contractual SLAs, whilst being able to clearly and promptly identify any issues to be escalated or assigned to another team.

? Investigating defects/issues with the aim of providing resolution within agreed timescales.

? Building strong relationships with clients and effectively managing expectations.

? Identifying, designing and developing enhancements to current systems within set timescales.

? Assisting with workloads of other team members when necessary to ensure all SLAs within team are met.

? Participate in peer reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Criteria:

? At least two years previous experience working within a software development role using Java, .NET or C++ (object oriented programming) is essential.

? Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

? Strong technical knowledge/background.

? Effective communication skills.

Desirable Criteria:

At least two years? experience of working with three or more of the following:

? Javascript

? HTML, CSS

? XML

? Apache

? ANT

? JBoss, Web Sphere or Web Logic

? Oracle, SQL Server, DB2

? Jasper Reports

? GT-X, Ciboodle

? Version control

? CRM systems

**University graduate or equivalent third level certification

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Travel: 25% to 35% travel maybe required.
