Senior Developer Job Location US-CT-Hartford - US-CT-West Hartford ID 2021-8425 Group SCIO Healthcare Analytics Type Regular Full-Time Overview SCIOInspire Corporation d/b/a SCIO Health Analytics Title: Senior Developer Duties: The Senior Developer at SCIOInspire Corp d/b/a SCIO Health Analytics in West Hartford, CT will develop, coordinate and promote the effective functioning of problem management activities across support teams. Closely work with business users, understand the production issues, review the code and make appropriate changes to fix the issues perform unit testing and deploy the code to production. Manage--Application--databases. Act as a technical resource for internal and external projects. Perform database administrator activities as required which includes building database systems that are high-quality, scalable and high performance, maintaining the security and availability of databases. Develop advanced SQL scripts for data extraction from SQL Server databases. Provide recommendations and strategies to improve performance and scalability of the database components. Develop, architect, design and implement web applications using Microsoft .Net, MVC. Review code for security standards, conduct security scans, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate the effort to resolve application vulnerabilities. Contribute to the planning of application and infrastructure releases and configuration changes.--Examine potential areas for service improvement and raise proposals with the service manager. Provide technical leadership. Provide input to applications and infrastructure scalability. Interact with internal teams and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot and resolve complex problems. Design appropriate metrics for reporting on key performance and quality indicators, particularly in terms of in-depth trend analysis. Maintain application monitoring, performance tuning and testing. Provide architecture level application support on complex internally and externally developed applications.--Provide input to administering and maintaining all production and internal environments. Provide input to the implementation, backup and roll-back plans. Ensure there are robust procedures and processes within the application support function remit. Design, prepare and conduct training relating to support management processes and best practices. Telecommuting one day per week is allowed. Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related IT field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related information technology experience. The experience must include 3 years of experience in each of the following: supporting production systems and developing applications using Microsoft, .net, Web Application, Microsoft SQL Server, Jquery, HTML, XML, RabbitMQ, SSRS, SSIS, T-SQL Queries, and Views; stored procedures in a multi-database environment; database administrator activities; and health care domain and applications production release activities. The employer will also accept a Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related information technology experience in lieu of a Master's degree plus 3 years of described experience.--Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
