> 9 yrs exp Provides technical support for the development, implementation and maintenance of an internal database. Maintains policies and procedures for ensuring database s security and integrity. Implements data models, database designs, data access and table maintenance codes. Resolves database performance and capacity issues, and replication and other distributed data issues. Relies on knowledge and professional discretion to plan and achieve goals. Works under general supervision and usually reports to a supervisor, though some ingenuity and flexibility is required. May require a bachelor s degree in a related area and 2 4 years of relevant experience.Examples of Tasks and DutiesCreate reports for internal teams and vendor supportCollaborate with team members to collect and analyze data within a data warehouseUse graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize dataDesigning and implementing processes to ensure data quality and integrityStructure large data sets to find usable informationWork with a team of analysts and other associates to process informationWorking within a data warehouse providing recommendations and findingsData Analyst skills and qualificationsMS SQL BI tools.Experience in working with PIIIn-depth knowledge working within the data warehouseCoding skills in languages such as SQL, Python and/or RAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with statistical software (e.g., Stata, SPSS)Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniquesReporting and data visualization skills using software like TableauUnderstanding of data warehousing and ETL techniquesProficiency in Microsoft ExcelAbility to set and meet deadlinesAbility to work in high-pressure situationsExperience with statistical softwareTechnical writing skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong written/verbal communication skillsAbility to QA and troubleshoot data - provided by Dice
