Job Description:

Vaco Boston is seeking a Senior Manager of SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting.



Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Lead the preparation and filing of 10-Qs and 10-Ks, including financial statements, footnotes, and Management's Discussion and Analysis
  
• Conduct and oversee disclosure research for new or changing requirements.
  
• Support upper management for various disclosure and audit committee meetings, including preparation of presentations.
  
• Oversee the preparation of technical accounting assessments, including proper research and whitepaper documentation
  
• Lead the development of and conformance with U.S. GAAP worldwide accounting policies
  
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness in SEC filings
  
• Coordinate and facilitate external audit processes related to SEC reporting
  
• Maintain internal controls related to SEC reporting, ensuring compliance with SOX.

  • 
    
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    
  • CPA strongly preferred
    
  • 7+ years of experience in public accounting and/or industry experience related to SEC reporting
    
  • Excellent knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and technical accounting standards.
