Liro Group, a leader in engineering, construction management, sustainability, and technology solutions, seeks a dedicated Information Technology Specialist to join our IT team. Based in Syosset, NY, this role is crucial for maintaining our advanced IT infrastructure, ensuring that project teams have the technological support necessary to deliver exceptional results across various sectors. As IT Specialist, you'll leverage cutting-edge technologies to spearhead initiatives that enhance urban infrastructure while upholding our commitment to sustainability and efficiency. Administer and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), network segments, and Internet systems. Maintain system efficiency, ensuring design of systems allow all components to work properly together. Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues. Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users. Evaluate and modify system's performance. Maintain integrity of the hardware and software systems, as well as data security, backup systems, and information systems security and control structures. Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provide technical support and guidance to users. Proficiency in maintaining LAN and WAN. Expertise in network security and data protection. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and provide IT support. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot network issues. Familiarity with common internet protocols and services (HTTP, SMTP, FTP, etc.). Experience with database management and cybersecurity protocols. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is advantageous.
