Join Year Up as part of our Desktop Support Job Training
Program, designed to bridge the opportunity gap for young adults.
This empowering initiative combines targeted education in
information technology with hands-on internship experience at
leading companies. Participants will gain valuable real-world
exposure to the technical support and IT fields, developing key
skills in software, hardware, and customer support. Our program not
only equips you with technical know-how but also nurtures critical
soft skills, tailored to help you launch a successful career in
technology. Complete rigorous training in desktop support including
installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer systems.
Participate actively in internship assignments with corporate
partners, applying classroom learning to real-world scenarios.
Engage in workshops that develop interpersonal and professional
skills necessary for success in a corporate environment.
Collaborate with peers and mentors to complete projects and receive
feedback on performance. Follow industry-standard practices and
protocols for IT support and security. Ability to troubleshoot
software and hardware issues Strong understanding of Windows and
Mac OS environments Knowledge of network configuration and security
Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a team and manage
time effectively Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
CompTIA A certification (provided during the training program)
