Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year A bit about us: Role Description This is a full-time position for a Litigation Associate located in Albany, NY, with flexibility for remote work. The Litigation Associate will be responsible for handling day-to-day operations related to litigation cases, including drafting motions and conducting legal research, participating in depositions, and appearing in court. The Litigation Associate will also be responsible for communicating with clients and working with other attorneys and staff members to manage cases. Associates will gain invaluable hands-on experience in trail preparation, mediation and advocacy. Qualifications Knowledge of the law and legal procedures Experience drafting motions and conducting legal research Experience participating in depositions Experience appearing in court and communication skills with clients Ability to work independently and as part of a team J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the New York State Bar Additional skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for the role include: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time-management and organizational skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to multitask and prioritize workload Experience working in a law firm or related experience Why join us?
