Job Description Job Description CDL B driver needed for beverage company based in the Bronx that delivers in Manhattan. Requirements: -Clean (No moving violations) CDL B w air brake endorsement. Minimum 1 year. - Operate a truck safely in accordance with all local traffic laws - MUST be reliable, dependable and punctual -Thrive under pressure and park vehicle in tight spaces on Manhattan streets -Ability to communicate well with coworkers and act professionally with customers - lift over 150lbs and use hand trucks proficiently -Pass random drug tests and initial back ground checks (Criminal and driving) Full time M-F 4:15 AM to Approximately 2PM $1300.00 per week Applicants absolutely must: -Attend work daily (absenteeism will not be tolerated) -Have ability to lift heavy cases and proficiently use a hand truck -Communicate effectively with Supervisor and other coworkers -Possess a positive attitude and be respectful to coworkers -Be respectful to customers and represent the company in a professional manor -Be willing to work in harsh weather elements -Able to work in a fast work environment (If you do not possess and are unable maintain these qualities throughout employment, please do not apply) Responsibilities: -Drive beverage truck from the Bronx to Mid-Town Manhattan -Deliver various beverages by use of hand trucks/u-boats to supermarkets, delis, drug stores, cafeterias and other outlets. -Check in and merchandise/pack out orders in supermarkets and drug stores) -Collect payments from customers
