Director of Care Coordination- Express Scripts The Director of
Care Coordination will be the business lead for development of
Health Information Interoperability capabilities and use cases
Health Information Interoperability (HI2) is an enterprise
initiative to provide timely access and sharing of health data to
drive breakthrough improvements in quality & affordability of care,
efficiency of care management and improved experiences of patients,
providers, clients and employers.
This position will work with multiple Cigna divisions (Cigna,
Express Scripts, eviCore, Accredo) in executing HI2 use cases
ensuring that HI2 capabilities are compliant with all industry
regulations and are delivering value to the enterprise. The
position will be responsible for defining the overall direction and
prioritization of these capabilities.
Serve as business owner for health information interoperability
use cases for Coordinated Care Services. Manage cross-functional
team and multiple sub-teams responsible for executing the use
cases. Create and present status updates to management and cross
Develop HI2 workflows in conjunction with multiple
Validate and develop business justification for use cases
collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Present HI2 capabilities to multiple stakeholders
Ensure that the Health Information Interoperability capabilities

Physician digital experience preferred.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams and driving use cases
in a fast-paced, heavily matrixed and cross-functional
Knowledge and experience with current clinical interoperability
standards (HL7, FHIR) preferred
10+ years of significant product management, vendor management
and cross-functional experience
2+ years of leadership/management experience
Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to work
cross-functionally to resolve issues and generate results among
potentially conflicting constituencies
Data analysis and reporting skills, including financial
Demonstrated ability to manage others – both direct and indirect
Demonstrated ability to attract, retain and develop talent.
High level of confidence, integrity, enthusiasm, a hands on
