Community Health Services, Inc. is seeking a motivated professional for a Service Coordinator role in our busy Behavioral Health Department. The Service Coordinator will support the growth and efficient operation of the department by providing front end administrative support for scheduling, billing, and onboarding new patients. This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position. The successful candidate will: Education/Experience Level: A Bachelor's degree in social work, social services, or a related field OR An Associate's degree with one (1) year of experience in a similar role OR A high school diploma or equivalent with three (3) or more years in a similar role Experience working in a patient-facing healthcare role Familiarity with billing and coding practices in behavioral health practices Proficiency in oral and written Spanish A high level of comfort with Microsoft Office suite products, including Outlook, Word and Excel and with entering data into and extracting information from electronic health record systems Experience running reports, reviewing and analyzing data Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to work independently The willingness and ability to effectively engage families from diverse social and ethnic backgrounds A professional demeanor and the ability to remain calm in high pressure situations Demonstrate an understanding and respect for confidentiality and be able to use discretion in handling sensitive situations The ability to network with community resources, problem solve, handle multiple needs at any given time, work with diverse client population and staff.
