Job Description Leveraging digital, analytical, organizational and communication skills, this position is responsible for providing subject matter expertise on administration, compliance, vendor management, reporting, as well as employee communication and education for our full suite of employee benefit plans and programs. The Sr. Global Benefits Analyst will contribute to the development of innovative strategies and programs that are aligned with our business objectives through comprehensive research and data analysis in support of evolving our future benefit platforms and processes. Actively participates in the formulation of benefits strategy and global benefits coordination. Leads execution of implementations and administrative implications of strategy and associated technology considerations. Serves as lead or supports Corporate Benefits Manager on large scale projects such as implementation of systems, benefits plans' and annual open enrollment. Develops and maintains detailed project plans. Supports advancement of holistic global wellness programs and initiatives. Develops innovative solutions to advance the culture of wellbeing (physical, emotional, financial, etc.). Actively establishes and monitors metrics to track program efficacy and improvement. Provides proactive strategies and recommendations to ensure market competitive programs in alignment with emerging trends (e.g., legislative, workforce demographics, trends, population health management, etc.) while remaining cost effective, legally compliant, and balanced with our benefits and total rewards philosophy and company needs. Solutions-driven and takes initiative to identify and implement process improvement opportunities across the benefits function. Assists in the design, development and delivery of robust benefit communications, leveraging digital technology channels, to expand understanding and value of global benefit plans and programs. Primary departmental resource for all benefit automation and oversight of technical processes including creation and automation of interface files and their delivery. Performs routine cost / financial analysis on plans and identifies areas of potential cost savings, forecasting and projections along with relevant utilization/statistical analyses. Conducts research, survey completion and external benchmarking to keep abreast of legislative environments and market trends in the interest of company plan competitiveness. Propels the advancement of data analytics and data visualization initiatives within the benefits function through the creation of reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards, and metrics. Maintains/updates benefit plan legal documentation, as required (Plan Documents, ERISA Wraps, SPDs). Develops and designs benefit enrollment materials and ongoing marketing or educational materials. Acts as a subject matter expert in day-to-day benefit operational support and benefit escalations from plan participants and HR Representatives. Develops and maintains strong relationships with carrier representatives and other internal parties to resolve complex benefit issues. Ensures retirement plans meet regulations through analysis and audits. Manage activities and funding associated with various Health/Welfare and Retirement programs (Health Savings Account (HSA), Retiree HRA and Retirement Plans (401(k), DC, Pension, Profit Sharing) including researching employee questions and monitoring deferrals and contributions. Lead various compliance projects and related reporting, such as annual retirement plan audits, Form 5500s, Summary Annual Reports, PBGC, Non-discrimination testing, ACA 1094 and 1095-C filings. Review and reconcile vendor discrepancy reports and conduct benefit audits as required.Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years' experience working in a strategic role either in a benefits department or benefits consulting. In depth experience in current benefits administration practices with exposure to the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of benefits programs. CEBS, CBP accreditation strongly preferred. Knowledge of UKG Pro (UltiPro), highly desirable. Experience with U.S. retirement, benefits, collective bargaining agreements. Good understanding of current health & wellness plan design approaches, insurance products, regulatory environment. Must have advanced MS Excel skills to include pivot tables, vLookups, formulas. Power BI or other visualization tools, highly desirable. Strong background in data analysis. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills to a wide variety of audiences. Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including the ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, Social Security and DOL requirements.
