Mt Sinai Rehab Hospital a member of Trinity Health Of New
England is looking for a Office Coordinator to join our Outpatient
Rehab team. Our vision is to provide state-of-the-art healthcare to
those within our local communities, creating a positive impact for
each individual that walks through our doors.
This person is responsible for day-to-day functioning of
outpatient rehab office. Responsible for proving support to the
leadership team and front desk staff. The Office Coordinator
oversees the daily functioning of the office, handles incoming and
outgoing mail, maintains general and clinical files, makes and
distributes copies, types correspondence and reports as directed.
Completes special assignments and assists in maintaining all
standardized operational processes.

You Will Be Responsible For:
- Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of
care by treating all patients with respect and dignity. Performs
scheduling functions for patients requesting OP rehab visits
- Excellent Communicator: provides exceptional customer service
in person and over the phone with patient, staff and family
members. Establishes and maintains good communication with staff,
administration, physicians and hospital departments. Exhibits and
maintains a high degree of responsibility for confidential
- Technical Familiarity: Maintains proficiency with office
computer systems. Performs clerical duties in a fast paced
- Active Teamwork: Coordinates with the front desk staff and team
leaders to ensure clerical functions impacting care management
services are completed. Demonstrates a working knowledge of care
management and scheduling functions. Ensures resources are
appropriately utilized, ordering offices supplies,
preparation/submission of job orders and work requests, and
associated office administration duties.
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) - three (3) years of education beyond high school in
healthcare administration, business, or related field. Associate's
- Three (3) years' experience coordinating daily office
- Excellent communication skills including verbal and written and
implementation of these skills in telephone and interpersonal
conversations. Fluency in Spanish is desirable
- Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment.
Accuracy and dependability required.
- Ability to travel to multiple locations within Hartford
