Successful completion of NA training or equivalent. Specialized training in aseptic technique or orthopedic policies and procedures.Experience: Nursing assistant experience preferred / certified nursing assistant. MUST be trained for ortho (casting/splinting/etc.)Certification & License: AHA Heartsaver CPR certification required.Ability to read write and speak English; and do simple math problemsPhysical and Mental Effort: Position requires ability to frequently push/pull/lift light objects more than 100 pounds, perform difficult manipulative, arm hand steadiness and hand-eye coordination skills, walk and stand for prolonged periods, see objects closely and far away and hear normal sounds with some background noises. The position requires ability to concentrate on fine detail with frequent interruptions and attend to task for more than 60 minutes at a timeEnvironmental and Working Conditions: Extensive mobility required; Walking and standing most of the day on duty, lifting and moving.
