Trinity Health Of New England is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center. You will work on an award winning 22 bed unit, in a Level 1 Trauma Facility with a growing ECMO Program. Shift/Schedule: 36 hours/week. Night Shift ( 7p-730a )

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Exceptional Patient Care: Contributes to overall quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively
  • Excellent Communicator: Communicates effectively (written and verbal) with colleagues, patients and family members
  • Strong Educator: Educate patients and family members so that they have a transparent understanding of the care being provided
  • Technical Familiarity: Understanding of computer-based applications (E-MAR, clinical documentation), email, and standard applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Active Teamwork: Demonstrates problem solving, conflict resolution, and positive communication through teamwork.


Requirements:
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in Connecticut
  • Experience: At least 6 months of recent acute care clinical nursing (RN) experience required
  • Certification: BLS certification required upon hire
  • Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks
