Full-Time Opportunity for a--Talent Acquisition Specialist-- Where:-- 100 Leibert Road in Hartford, CT 06120-- Hours:-- Business hours are Monday --- Friday 8:00am --- 4:30pm.---- Duties: The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruiting across the organization including working with managers to define job requirements and qualifications, approving job requisitions, creating and placing job postings, screening applicants, working with hiring managers to select candidates for interviews, coordinating interviews, facilitating background and other pre-employment checks, and onboarding new hires. This position is also responsible for researching and developing recruiting strategies for hard-to-fill positions, and for assisting the Director of Human Resources with EEO and Affirmative Action responsibilities.-- Qualifications:----

  • Associate---s or--Bachelor---s--degree strongly preferred. Minimum possession of a High School Diploma/GED required. --PHR or SHRM-CP is a plus.----
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on recruiting. Experience recruiting in the transportation industry a plus.----
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws applicable to recruiting and hiring, and of the requirements for I-9 and------compliance with--E-Verify.--
  • Demonstrated proficiency with HRIS applications, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and MS Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.----
