Start your Voyage - Apply Now Profile Summary: This position is within the actuarial valuation function for the Wealth Solutions business unit. The primary responsibilities include valuation for the Stable Value block of business and supporting quarterly actuarial reporting for deferred annuity business. Please Note: This position has been designated as hybrid-office/home. Details of your in-office schedule will be finalized with your manager. Profile Description: * Perform valuation for the Stable Value business including GAAP and statutory reserves, cash flow testing, risk-based capital and economic capital * Conduct experience study and assumption setting for Stable Value * Support quarterly DAC reporting for deferred annuity business * Prepare 10Q/K disclosures, statutory footnotes and annual statement * Support implementation of the Long-Duration Contracts Targeted Improvements (LDTI) for DAC and Market Risk Benefit * Participate in the Actuarial Student Rotation Program Knowledge & Experience: * Bachelors' degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance or related business discipline * Completion of 2+ actuarial exams or near ASA designation * 1-3 years finance, insurance industry, or actuarial experience * Basic understanding of insurance products and operations * Strong oral and written communication skills, detail oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills * Strong technical skills in 1 or more of the following: Excel spreadsheets, databases, actuarial projection/valuation software * Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines * Ability to effectively communicate with manager and other team members Be Well.
