**UX DEVELOPER, EMPLOYER AT INDEED**
UX Developers, Employer at Indeed serve a critical role evolving
concepts and designs into production for the Indeed Employer
website experience. They specialize in bridging the gap between
design and engineering, executing and advocating high-quality UX
standards and best practices.
Our UX Developers work with cross-functional teams to build
accessible user interfaces for our employer products. They create
fast, scalable, maintainable, and secure experiences by executing
and defining best practices in UI development. In addition, they
contribute to the design ideation and decision-making process.
**WHO YOU ARE**
**THE SKILLS OF A UX DEVELOPER, EMPLOYER INCLUDE:**
- An understanding of responsive layouts with adaptive, semantic,
and accessible HTML.
experience is preferred.
React is preferred.
- Understanding of JS patterns and packages such as CSS-in-JS
paradigms (Emotion.js Styled Components), state management (Redux,
React Context), and GraphQL.
- Experience with CSS, SASS and CSS preprocessors and
- Practical experience with package management (NPM, Yarn) and
version control (Git).
- Knowledge of industry standards in accessibility,
internationalization, and performance optimization.
- Ability to create reusable and scalable components.
- An understanding of unit, integration, and end-to-end
- Familiarity with usability and iteration testing.
- Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or similar design tools.
- A deep passion for both code and creativity.

**SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER**
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed
salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending
on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and
performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's
total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include
quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time
Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
