Reports to: -Director of Youth Development Services
Supervises: -None
Employment Status: -Regular Full Time
FLSA Classification: -Non-Exempt

JOB SUMMARY: -Responsible for agency's universal enrollment process. Ensures youth is matched with a youth development specialist that works to establish an individual success plan that incorporates youth's initial, intermediate and long-term goals relative to education and employment. ERS will also provide retention services during long-term outcomes phase, and facilitate alumni programs and supports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

--- Recruits and promotes OPP programs and services in community based settings (community events, churches, etc.)
--- Provides weekly orientations for youth and families that inquired and are interested in program supports (i.e. agency tour, video, ice breaker and teambuilding activities)
--- Completes Universal Intake Application and facilitates assessments to determine eligibility and need
--- Works with YDS and youth to ensure proper match is made so that youth may pursue their Initial, intermediate and long-term outcomes
--- For non-eligible youth, those that do not meet target population criteria, refers them to other community resources that are better suited to meet the needs of youth
--- Provides retention services for youth that have exited the program and supports alumni association participants
--- Facilitates satisfaction surveys, (youth provides feedback on experience)
--- Participates in agency-wide training on development and role as an OPP ambassador.
--- Handles any appropriate responsibilities and functions as assigned by supervisor and/or director
--- Travel required
--- Attendance Required

Qualifications:

--- Bachelor's degree in human services, (i.e. Social Work, public health, or related field).
--- Two-three years of experience working in case management environment with a particular focus on youth and/or young adults
--- ages 14-24.
--- Ability to Adapt & Demonstrate Basic Youth Development Principles
--- Ability to Communicate and Develop Positive Relationships with Youth
--- Ability to Respect and Honor a Youth's Cultural and Human Diversity
--- Resourcefulness
--- Valid CT driver's license and reliable transportation and/or own vehicle
