Job DescriptionAetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT: Lead Data Scientist to formulate and apply mathematical and computational modeling methods towards data extraction and manipulation. Duties include: apply advanced quantitative, data modeling, and machine learning methods to the development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and reporting tools; leverage data science, large scale experimentation, and optimization of digital properties and applications to develop predictive models that maximize behavioral change; identify and solve data modeling and machine learning problems, including validating information, applying quantitative judgment, and applying complex algorithms and artificial learning; perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary; and act as an analytics product owner and translate business needs into analytics projects and recommendations.Required QualificationsMaster's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field and 2 years of experience in each of the following: Analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources; Machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling; SAS or SQL programming languages; Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Programming in R, Hadoop, or Python; and Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau.COVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
