Market Insight Advisor - CRM Campaign Analytics Team:This position serves in a lead role in the CRM Campaign Analytics Team. The CRM Campaign Analytics team analyze and measure the influence of D2C messaging and content on customer behaviors and healthcare activities. The Market Insight Advisor will review the impacts of Cigna CRM campaign efforts on the Cigna member population and identify key insights that can be used to endorse or guide strategy, preparing the results and insights by way of preparing presentations for internal partners and management regarding marketing strategy, planning and product utilization.The candidate for this position should understand the standard campaign process from the impact of targeting the initial audience, to the final steps in measuring campaign results. The Market Insight Advisor will work closely with internal partners charged with setting strategies, measuring versioned and custom content, and architecting the campaign in order to ensure that all facets of the analysis provides as much value to all parties. This role requires strong database analysis skills, a background in campaign measurement, experience with email campaign performance, and the ability to set procedures for measuring campaign results based on customer behaviors. Accessing and querying data will be done via a variety of tools based on SQL, and might utilize SAS, Python, R, Hadoop, or other data analytics packages. Analyzing data and creating reports, dashboards and visualizations using a variety of tools to reveal deep insights and actionable business intelligence.Performs problem analysis utilizing computer modeling techniques. Requires work prioritization, forecasting, scheduling and coordinating resources within assigned projects. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within Market Research.Campaign Measurement Responsibilities:

  • Partner with strategy and campaign development teams to identify needed analysis and determine strategic and informational needs.
  • Tracking behavioral and demographic trends across customer segments while managing analytic delivery tools (e.g. dashboards).
  • Accountability for maintaining a high degree of customer data quality and accuracy of campaign metrics
  • Construct Tableau dashboards/interactive visualization tools for stakeholders using campaign data and established business requirements to measure and reveal the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Work with SQL databases and stored procedures using SQL and data manipulation languages (DML) to Import, export and manipulate large data sets in databases like SAS enterprise and Hadoop to furnish reports/Dashboards in Tableau.
  • Generate reports to present findings to higher management using advanced Tableau skills; highlighting behavioral patterns and response to marketing efforts/campaign.
  • Consistently working on creating and ensuring the completion and quality of medical campaign reports.
  • Is able to multi task readily, working on several projects at once
  • Manages timelines supporting campaign distribution, initial engagement, downstream health behaviors calculationData Integrity & Quality in Campaigns Measurement:
    • Understands the use of data elements across the organization and campaigns. Develops standards for data quality for use in measuring campaign performance. Recommends and coordinates efforts to improve data quality and monitoring for campaigns.
    • Maintains compliance with all company and regulatory requirements for privacy and data security.Ideal Candidate Competencies:
      • Education: Minimum Bachelor's or Equivalent, Master's Preferred
      • Work Experience: 5+ years of experience in data / statistical analyses, D2C campaign performance measurement
      • Work Skills: Excel, Tableau, SQL, SAS, Hadoop, MS Office
        • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.)
        • Campaign Measurement in healthcare, consumer goods, or services industry experience a plus.
        • Direct marketing experience greatly preferred.
        • Ability to work effectively in dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment
        • Must balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines.
        • Solid creative thinking and problem solving skills.
        • Ability to foster collaboration, value others perspectives, and gain support and buy-in for organizational efforts.
        • Excellent oral and written communications skills
        • Proven ability to function in a heavily matrixed environment.
        • Experience leading projects and working with cross functional teams, especially Business and Marketing communications teams
