Advanced Orthopedics New England is a growing healthcare practice based in the greater Hartford, CT and Springfield, MA communities with a strong commitment to providing excellent care and customer service to our patients. We are seeking an experienced PA with the ability to provide high quality patient care in the office and operating room setting. - - -
We are a multi-subspecialty team of surgeons, physician assistants and administrative staff committed to providing high quality medical and surgical care to patients. We have five locations: Enfield, CT, Bloomfield, CT, Rocky Hill, CT, Vernon, CT and Springfield, MA. This team brings a group of 9 experienced surgeons and 7 advanced practice providers together to work towards the best possible outcomes for their patients. - -
PAs will work with an Orthopedic Surgeon providing a broad spectrum of general patient care. These duties include, but are not limited to, medical evaluation and treatment, removal of sutures, application of casts, ordering and analyzing tests, writing orders, patient rounds, and patient education. The PA will also assist in the operating room for inpatient and outpatient surgeries. The PA must be willing and able to travel to all practice locations. -
We are seeking a candidate to work 3-5 days per week, which would be a combination of office time and operating room time. - -
The opportunity for additional work exists with weekend shift coverage in our Urgent Care location. - Game coverage for additional pay is also available as several physicians in the practice actively care for high school, collegiate, and professional sports teams in the region. -
