Job DescriptionStart date: June 12, 2023Locations: This program has positions available at multiple office locations across the country and offers the flexibility of working 2-3 days in the office (hybrid arrangement). These locations offer you the opportunity to work in offices that have fellow underwriting professionals. Should you accept a position in this program, we will take your preferred office location into consideration and will attempt to accommodate it. We are building a new health care model that is easier to use, less expensive, and puts the consumer at the center of their care.You will gain valuable work experience and participate in:* Three, eighteen-month rotations across Underwriting business segments* Formal classroom and on the job training* Projects that contribute to the success of our business* Community service and culture initiatives* Mentorship and networking opportunities* Interaction with senior leadersThe program offers rotations across a variety of business units including Commercial, Government, International businesses, and other business units. What you will do: * Price new and existing business with the goal of selling and retaining profitable customers * Act as a strategic partner to support overall management of your book of business * Work with internal partners in sales and account management to negotiate pricing, create benefit plan designs and cross sell additional products/programs in support of our customers * Collaborate with actuarial to refine pricing based on changes in future medical costs, trends and customer specific data * Participate in leadership development opportunities such as networking, solution-focused business projects and career coaching and feedback.Pay RangeThe typical pay range for this role is:Minimum: 19.50Maximum: 38.99Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
