The "Head of Business Partner Controlling" is responsible to support the CFO in the mission to secure the financial performance of TUS and should function as a sparring partner for the local CFO and Management. The task of the department is to closely monitor the financial performance of the business (in the dimensions division, function, location) by translating numbers, data and facts into comprehensive reports, discuss them with the respective operative managers, create valuable insight and support managers to initiate and track improvement initiatives based on an analytical and figure-based approach. The controller in this group will act as a business partner to the business and will need a good understanding of both the respective business, specific to financial and operative KPI's and the respective operative key challenges of the business. Head of Business Control Responsibilities Reports / KPI's / Analytics: analyze financial performance of respective division, function or location, discuss with respective operative manager and propose actions provide division, function and location specific reports and KPI's incl. comments and proposals to create valuable insight for the operative managers KPI's Division (MT / LT / AM) Sales figures Profitability / Cost Invested Capital / FCF KPI's Function (Sales, Services, Production, R&D, HR, Purchasing, Administration): cost centers / internal orders: structural cost, capacities, investments, hourly rates, over-under absorption orders: sales orders, production orders, service missions, etc. function specific P&L lines and Investment Capital positions Planning and Forecasting coordinate division and function specific planning and forecasting drive and challenge business plans and investment calculations cost reduction projects, efficiency projects, growth initiatives, make or buy decisions, etc. Experience profound knowledge of TRUMPF controlling and accounting standards and SAP FI/CO strong analytical skills and good knowledge of the respective analytics and reporting tools (e.g. MS-Excel, BI, Analysis for Office, BCS, TSD, etc.) strong reporting and presentation skills (translate data into easy to understand tables and graphs, provide concise information about the data and explain & evaluate what the trends could be telling the organization ) and knowledge of the respective tools (e.g. MS Powerpoint/Excel, Power BI) strong communication skills, be able to explain complex trends in an easy to understand way by focusing on the essentials, act as a partner to the operative managers and take a critical position at the same time previous experience in managing a team is required Education Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance TRUMPF is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
