In support of our very busy practice, we are currently seeking an experienced bi-lingual (Spanish/English) Switchboard Operator. If you are someone who thrives in making a difference by helping others, are bi-lingual (Spanish/English), have excellent grammar, multi-line switchboard, and customer service experience, this job is for you. This position is Monday through Friday, eight hours daily.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Answers high volume, multi-line switchboard promptly, politely and professionally, directing calls to their destination without delay.
• Provides superior customer service at switchboard, including outstanding first impression of Orthopedic Associates of Hartford to all callers.
• Translates for our Spanish speaking patients when necessary.
• Responsible for complete understanding of daily schedules.
• Maintains effective communication with management.
• Other duties, as may be assigned by management. PM22 Requirements:Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Multi-line switchboard experience.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Bi-lingual - must be fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Excellent grammar, verbal and listening skills.
  • Positive and productive team player.
  • Superior customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Highly reliable and conscientious.
  • Ability to work in a busy environment with minimum supervision.
  • Detail oriented; able to multi-task.
  • High school diploma or GED.
