As a member of our Magnet- designated Nursing team, you will provide support to the inpatient nursing staff, while working to ensure comfort and safety for our patients and their family members.Are your ready to take the next step in your career by joining our dynamic Nursing Support Team? • Be responsible for taking patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart and respiratory rate, temperature and oxygen saturation
• Encourage patient to perform exercises and guide patient activities as advised including ambulating, transferring, turning and positioning
• Maintain a clean, comfortable environment for each patient that aligns with MSK policies and procedures
• Perform personal hygiene tasks for patients including bathing, mouth care, peri-care and skin care
• Ensure patient has necessarily supplies every single day including a clean gown, towels, soap, etc; change bed linens as needed
• Record intake and output
• Escort discharged patients out of hospital as directed by RN
• Provide Post-mortem careKey Qualifications:
  • Nursing Assistant or other healthcare related certification (PCT, EMT, Med Tech, Home Health Aid, LPN) required, OR at least 1 year of healthcare related experience (NA, PCT, EMT, Med Tech, Home Health Aid, LPN) in lieu of the certification.
  • BLS Certification required by the time of hireCore Skills:
