Learn more at .The Devo security products team is developing the world's first Autonomous SOC to revolutionize the security industry. Candidates will work on cutting-edge security technology related to autonomous threat detection, behavioral analysis, investigations, and hunting.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Data Scientist with a proven track record in developing threat detection algorithms. The candidate will manage the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data acquisition and feature engineering to model evaluation and monitoring.Responsibilities

• Transfer applied research into deployable technologies.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts such as malware detection, fraud prevention, adversary tradecrafts, and emerging threats.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark/PySpark and big data frameworks.
• Optimize and troubleshoot complex queries for performance.
• Build and deploy AI/ML models across diverse data sources to generate insights.
• Utilize modern tools for data exploration and analysis.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Document code and processes for clarity and knowledge sharing.Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with query tuning, performance optimization, and big data solutions like Spark/PySpark.
  • Experience with anomaly detection, clustering, time series analysis, reinforcement learning, generative AI, and large language models.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Desired Skills
    • Understanding of SOC and security management workflows.
