Red River Recruiting is in search of a Regional Class A CDL Driver!!! Schedule: Monday - Friday - Saturday work required on occasion (required to work a Saturday 3 - 4 times a year during Spring or Holiday surge Start Time: (0100 - 0500) - drivers unable to select their start time - (1st delivery appointment (0800) / last delivery appointment (1700) Shift: 10 hours Drivers have the potential to be home 1 - 2 nights a week in addition to reset IF they live within 40 miles of the account-this will not apply during Spring surge Hauling pet food, fertilizer,and household products in 48ft' (20%) and 53ft (80%) preloaded trailers to mostly Southern States retail stores in CT, DE, MA, MD, NH, ME, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, VT, and WV. Account sends 3 - 4 trucks to Long Island per week - a driver may not see Long Island for months depending on freight volume and weekly dispatch (No NYC) Drivers will unload full pallets with a manual pallet jack and half pallets with a hand truck - (pallets weigh about 2,000lbs) - retail store personnel will assist with unload (avg 15 - 45 min unload per stop) Required to pick up vendor and third party backhauls Truck Info: Sleeper trucks No Automatics Drivers may take the truck home during time off Passengers permitted
