General Duties :Duties general include but are not limited to the following: --- Performs all maintenance, major and minor, analyzes complex troubles, repairs, adjusts, replaces parts, works on and operates special purpose equipment, maintains records for all building equipment in the following three categories Refrigeration Systems, Centri fugal Compressors, Air-Cooled Condensers, Reciprocating, Compressors, Cooling Towe rs, Water- Coded Condensers, Electric, Pneumatic and Electric Controls Electric Systems, Circuit Breakers, Motors, Line Starters, Distribution Panels. Fuses, Single and Three-Phase Circuitry, Safety Devices, Wiring Diagrams, Standby Power, Heating Systems, Rotary Oil Burners, Electric Heat, Gun-Type Oil Burners, Fuel Supply Systems, Gas Burners, Steam and Hot Water Boilers, Natural Forces or Induced Draft Systems, Boiler Water Treatment , Warm Air furnaces, Electric or Electronic Control Systems, Indust rial Combustion Contro ls.--- Guides the work of Building Equipment Maintainers, House Service Maintainers or House --- Service Attendants-A, who assist in the performance of work.--- Lifts loads weighting over 60 pounds--- Drives Company vehicle-car, van or light duty truck. II. Basic Qualifications :Past Experienc e:--- Satisfactory completion of a postsecondary course of study from a certifies school and a minimum of 2 years work experience in--- Advanced Heati ng--- Advanced Refrigeration --- Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Controls (HVAC) --- Electrical Theory ; or a certified doc of applicable military training in fields 1,2,3 and 4 listed above and a minimum of 2 years work experience AND proof of having been licensed by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Occupational Licensing Division in the E1 or E2, or D1 or D2, or S1 or S2 fi elds. --- Candidates for this position are required to provide official verification of education (transcripts, certifications, licenses or military re cords)--- Candidates must submit the required documentation with transfer request.Tests : None Physical Requirements : Non e Performance/Attendance: (Applicable to all trans fers):--- Satisfactory performance rating in present job. --- Satisfactory attendance record in present job.Specifics:--- Company Driving Certificate requi red. --- 40 hours per week, generally scheduled between 7:00 am to 5:00 PM. --- Saturday and Sunday work required at some location. --- Rotational standby duty as assigned.
