Job Description:

The Field Service Technician will provide service and customer support on location while evaluating and providing feedback to correct product quality issues. Will be instrumental in maintaining a positive contractor/homeowner relationship. Role and Responsibilities Represent and support in the field, through product repair or replacements, according to schedules, procedures, and standards. Responsible for the completion of all repairs and inspections according to company-wide procedures and practices. Ability to follow instructions and learn all aspects of the job on a continuous basis. Set up, operate hand, and power work tools as needed on the service job site. Disassemble product as needed and makes a diagnosis of what needs to be done to bring the product to manufacturer's standards. Repair doors, windows, glass and various parts as needed to bring the product to the Manufacturer standard of all parties involved within reason. Make suggestions to the Manager on product improvement and repeat product problems that may occur. Maintain service truck tools and equipment as needed. Schedule service truck for regular maintenance at an approved garage. Keep the inside and outside of service truck clean and orderly in appearance. Modify and prep service van with shelving, new tools, etc. as needed. Complete and turn in all service notes and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Follow all safety rules and regulations that pertain to the job. Ensure that all tools and equipment are in good, safe working order. Follow and comply with processes and procedures while working alone or with others Read and understand job orders in order to complete jobs fully and correctly Approach every situation with a commitment to customer satisfaction and a service ethic that demonstrates our desire to deliver a leading customer experience. Responsible for maintaining contractor and homeowner relations. Other duties as required. Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Carpentry skills, which ideally include experience in door and window installation and adjustment. Working knowledge of power tools and equipment. Qualifications and Preferred Skills Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally. Ability to safely, legally and consistently operate an automobile for traveling. Time management and organizational skills. Knowledge of residential construction and the ability to use hand tools is necessary. Must be able to work from ladders and scaffolding, and work well unsupervised. Ability to work with customers directly Job Requirements:

  • Providing high quality repair service on equipment
  • Maintain equipment in the field
  • Providing field support/repair/preventative maintenance of medical services equipment for the company's field locations
  • Supporting inventory for equipment maintenance
  • Resolve issues related to installation and service/repair
  • Provide field installation, system troubleshooting and repairs and training support for customers in the field
  • Maintain machinery and electrical equipment such as ignition, governor, lubrication and engine control systems by performing the following duties
  • Providing high quality repair service on equipment
  • Do installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance on various equipment
  • Perform periodic maintenance and repair service at customer locations
  • Complete maintenance and repair records
  • Assisting in problem solving, equipment installation and repair
  • Provide service and repair as well as service and maintenance training for installed Dematic systems and equipment
  • Resolve while on-site or with field technician
  • Ensure proper repair and maintenance procedures
  • Operate equipment and perform maintenance tasks
  • Deploy, repair, troubleshoot or replace electronic equipment
  • Perform minor electrical/instrumentation maintenance and repair
  • Maintain installation and service tools
  • Work within field services team focusing on equipment operation and product installation
