looking for self-motivated Environmental Field Technicians to join
our growing team in the Hartford area! The Field Technicians
responsibilities may include but are not limited to performing
confined space entries, soil remediation, chemical decontamination,
underground and above ground storage tank cleaning and closure,
sample collection, separator cleaning and emergency response
services. Position Responsibilities Determination/eagerness to
learn and retain a basic knowledge of daily work practicesDevelop
an understanding of DOT, EPA & OSHA regulationsUnderstand and
execute all required paperworkPickup and delivery of hazardous and
non-hazardous waste and materials with a sharp focus on customer
serviceAbility to wear a respirator for 4- 6 hours per dayProvide
clients with high-quality and professional customer serviceAssist
Supervisor, Leadsman and other Equipment Operators as
requestedComplete emergency response training and be placed on an
emergency response teamAbility to lift items that weigh up to 75
lbs.Ensure Health & Safety is the number one priority by following
policies, procedures, and acting in a safe manner at all
timesExperience handling hazmat material (preferred not
required)Maintain a good working order and appearance of assigned
Company vehicles and any other assigned equipmentProvide timely
reporting of work related accidents and incidents to their
supervisor Position Qualifications OSHA 40 Certification (Training
Provided)Basic knowledge of, or interest in, environmental services
and hazardous waste fieldSelf-motivated person with the desire to
learnSuccessful completion of OSHA/ DOT physical examination which
includes drug and alcohol screeningExperience with Hazardous Waste
removalAbility to work 40+ hours a weekAbility to work over time if
