Position Overview
Anderson Brothers Sanitation is a family run full-service septic company based out of Madison, Connecticut. We have been in business for over 25 years and have become a household name on the shoreline as well-respected and industry experts. We take pride in the quality of our services and our employees who perform them. We are seeking a reliable, hard-working and responsible repair and service technician to join our company.
The service and repair technician will be responsible for performing a variety of wastewater-related repairs, maintenance and service tasks. Though septic experience is always a plus, it is not required for this position.

Position Requirements
An ideal candidate may have experience operating mini-excavators, mechanical, electrical, landscape, and/or plumbing experience
Candidate has the desire to grow and transfer into a management position within the company

Primary Job Duties
Prepare for each service job to maximize efficiency (prepare truck, tools, etc.) by following daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance (e.g. check fluids, tires, supplies)
Perform customer service interaction when on work site to ensure customer satisfaction
Observe and note defective septic component systems, adverse buildup or hazards on the work order and provide any recommend maintenance or service to customer

Work Environment
Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and non-hazardous fumes
Must be comfortable working as a team member to maximize job efficiency
Must be comfortable with customer interactions and be professional at all times
Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM EST

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong written, and reading communication skills to interpret company policies and procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, maps and road signs
Moderate to strong verbal communication to effectively work with customers, co-workers and management
Basic computer literacy including email and internet skills.
Understanding to perform basic math functions
------Ability to complete assigned tasks with attention to detail; work independently and with teams as required to meet deadlines
Motivated, organized, self-starter who is ready to assume responsibility on challenging matters and a desire to grow and develop

$18-$24/Hour
