This position will require regional coordination for our area hospitals (Hartford, Waterbury, Springfield) while based out of Saint Francis Hospital, Hartford, CTJob Description:Provides clinical implementation support within the Trinity Health Of New England Supply Chain for Value Analysis. Acts as a liaison between Supply Chain, vendors, physicians and other care providers. Provides the resources for maintaining balance optimal clinical outcomes, promoting excellence in quality of care with appropriate product utilization and supply stewardship. Facilitates the resolution of clinical issues resulting from the standardization or introduction of products and vendors. Supports the region in reduction/savings opportunities and facility issues on a routine basis. Accountable for communicating upcoming changes, issues and trends related to clinical supply Nursing Leadership and Department Directors in a timely clear and concise manner. Co-chairs/or supports assigned Value Analysis Committees.       • Exceptional Patient Care: Identify opportunities for product standardization and increased product quality for improved patient outcomes
      • Excellent Communicator: Act as a liaison between Supply Chain, vendors, physicians and other care providers; build and maintain relationships with vendor representatives to stay current on new products/services/equipment
      • Strong Educator: Assists in the development, maintenance, and implementation of the approved regional value analysis work-plans. Develops, creates and maintains an organizational/vendor culture regarding new technology, products and services management.
      • Technical Familiarity: Must be able to compare offerings to current products and services utilized and current practices to make an initial assessment of applicability and opportunity for quality and/or cost improvement. Stays current with major developments and changes within the assigned commodities and Ministry's departments.
      • Active Teamwork: Facilitates and manages inter-departmental projects related to supply/equipment conversion, supply/equipment sourcing. Acts as liaison to assigned departments for handling vendor/product/purchased services/equipment customer support needs including but not limited to budget, usage, quality, sourcing, contract inquiries and vendor relationships.Requirements:
        • RN license in good standing from the state of CT. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
        • Five (5) years' experience handling vendor/product/purchased services including inventory and purchasing. Experience in analyzing product research and clinical outcomes data. Project management and clinical trial experience preferred.
        • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams. Ability to operate in a collaborative, shared leadership environment. Strong organizational skills-ability to manage projects simultaneously.
        • Excellent presentation and written communication skills.Preferred Skills:
          • Knowledge of LEAN methodology desirable
          • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
          • Strong negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
