Supporting Aetna's Underwriting and Actuarial (UW/A) function, the FP&A Senior Analyst will provide key reporting and analysis support including preparation of financial exhibits and review materials for executive presentations. The role is fully remote, as is the broader Finance team. A vast majority of interactions this role will have with others within the organization are also remote or hybrid based. Candidates may reside in any US time zone however the ability to effectively work Eastern time zone office hours is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities and attributes of this role include:

--- Key contributor to the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries (accruals, pre-paids, expense transfers), analyzing monthly variances to Plan/Forecast, and reporting monthly results to management and business stakeholders
--- Develop relationships with key business stakeholders who will look to this role for guidance and partnership to track and manage progress against their financial objectives and decision making processes
--- Development of annual Plan and quarterly Forecasts for UW/A expense profile and FTEs
--- Manage and maintain UW/A cost center structure to best align tracking needs and manage expense allocations to constituent lines of business
--- Assist with ad-hoc projects and requests from key business stakeholders across the Finance organization
--- Able to independently identify problems, communicate to leadership, and execute on paths to achieve UW/A objectives

The typical pay range for this role is:
Minimum: 43,700
Maximum: 97,400Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.Required Qualifications
--- 1+ years of expense management experience
--- 3+ years of spreadsheet/presentation software experience
--- 3+ years of FP&A experiencePreferred Qualifications
--- Prior healthcare or insurance industry experience is helpful but not required.
--- Financial management systems experience (e.g., Hyperion, S4)
--- Ability and comfort with working in a fast-paced environment and meeting tight deadlines
--- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audienceEducation
--- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
--- Finance or Accounting degree preferred but not required
--- MBA or CPA background is helpful but not requiredBusiness Overview
