You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Innovation Systems Analyst supports the development and execution of the enterprise strategy and initiatives that have potential impact to people, processes, and technology across Technology, Operations, and Data.Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs external research on industry trends and innovation within Banking, Technology, and Operations
  • Maintains libraries of both bank, FinTech and technology analysis and research
  • Supports technology product innovation with proofs of concept and associated cost/benefit analysis to articulate potential opportunities for operational efficiency, revenue, or customer experience improvements
  • Facilitates product innovation efforts by developing plans, schedules and milestones with stakeholders
  • Supports an agile process focused on facilitating ideation, analyzing risk, benefit, and cost, and driving positive ROI projects to mobilization
  • Performs analysis on strategic initiatives directed by Technology, Operations, and Data leadership
  • Drives new technology delivery and business transformation initiatives from conception to execution readiness
  • Constructs Executive Leadership Team (ELT), Operations and Technology-wide, and Regions-wide communications for Technology, Operations and Data
  • Leads discussions with Technology, Operations, and Data executives on key insights for their departments
  • Utilizes data to objectively measure effectiveness of Technology, Operations, and Data strategic programs
  • Develops dashboards and communications to articulate the transformation trajectory
  • Supports value capture of strategic initiatives throughout the life of strategic initiatives (e.g. maturity model with supporting key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with various stakeholders throughout the bank and within Technology, Operations, and Data
  • Performs data wrangling and data analysis on key technology strategies
  • Performs data visualization for key technology concepts, initiatives, and strategies
  • Performs analysis on key technology and operations strategies to measure maturity with KPIs
  • Facilitates updates for external investor communications; KPIs across all of Operations, Technology and Data; and progress against the overall strategic plan for Operations, Technology, and Data
  • Triangulates data into management insights for an executive audience
  • Conducts Organizational Change Management best practices, concepts, and impact analysis to different teams involved large scale programsThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, Finance, Computer Science, or related degree
    • Five (5) years of experience in product management, technology consulting, strategy development, software development, data analysis / visualization, and/or innovation
    • Familiarity or working knowledge of project management and Agile
    • Experience with SDLC, software, and dataPreferences
      • Banking experienceSkills and Competencies
        • Ability to design and develop quick automation solutions leveraging low code platforms
        • Ability to drive tangible value and insights out of unstructured data
        • Ability to mobilize strategy into execution
        • Ability to support strategic plan development for Technology, Operations, and Data

        • Advanced business writing skills
        • Advanced data analysis skills and MS Power BI
        • Advanced skills in Microsoft (MS) Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
        • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
        • Experience in development of business cases and value tracking
        • Experience in low code development and automation
        • Experience in presenting at various levels of the organization
        • Experience in Program or Project Management
        • Experience in SQL
        • Experience in technology product management
        • Innovative mindset grounded in the constructs of the large enterprise
        • Strong research and analysis skills
        • Strong understanding in process improvement / re-engineering concepts
