The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.Salary Range$130,600.00 - $215,400.00Target Openings1What Is the Opportunity?As a Sr. Architect, you will help lead the effort to create the technology target state for the Claim's Advanced Analytics area of a global, Dow 30 company. As a direct report to a member of the Enterprise Architecture and Emerging Technology leadership team, you will interface directly with senior technology leaders to transform our current business and technology capabilities and pave the way for best-in-class solutions. You will be a dedicated partner to senior Technology and Business leaders as you define a target state, roadmaps and identify new and emerging technologies that will transform and optimize the business. You will work within a community of architecture leaders, charged with establishing and evolving a unified architecture vision.Primary Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesArchitecture responsibility within a major segment of Technology Architecture in support of Claims' Advanced Analytics areaWorks with the Senior leadership within Technology and Business to develop architecture priorities and direction to enable business imperativesDisplays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principals and technology modernizationDrives continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debtCreate a partnership with Senior Software EngineeringLooks for opportunities to capitalize on technology advances through analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential impact on the enterpriseDefines and leads technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutionsHands-on prototyping of new technology solutionsPartner with Software Engineering to execute proof of technologiesDefines target state technology architecture and roadmapsEnsures alignment of IT initiatives with the target stateBuilds strong partnership with engineering to ensure proper alignment of skills with technology directionPrepares and delivers comprehensive communications to convey architectural direction and how it aligns with enterprise strategyOptimizes talent strategy to ensure proper mix of resources and attracts and recruits best talentContinuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of the architectureAdditional Value Stream Specific Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesSelf motivated experienced architect who is passionate in predictive and prescriptive analyticsLead the end-to-end architecture and development of machine learning solutions.Engineer large scale development systems using full-stack, distributed shallow and deep-learning technologies and cloud technologies.Architect and develop a highly scalable, distributed, multi-tenant set of microservices backend solutions.Strong working knowledge on modern cloud computing technology patterns, practices, methods and architectures, preferably AWSExperience in Event Driven Architecture is a big plusExperience in strategic data & analytics architectures, technologies, and patterns for data lake, data warehouse, advanced analytics platform, machine learning and artificial intelligence.Ability to perform as a lead technologist to masterfully assess and design applications, systems solutions, and interfaces for multiple systems.Collaborates with project team and other key stakeholders to identify, estimate, and prioritize project and/or enhancement activities.Collaborates with enterprise groups to follow enterprise guidance and/or influence enterprise direction on specific area/technology/patternAbility to learn the latest technologies and be self-started in running proof of concepts to determine how they can be applied to solve needs within the organizationWorking knowledge with SQL, MongoDB and/or other database technologies, information architecture experience a plus.Assist in the remediation of application stability and performance.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree or its equivalent in work experience.Six years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information architecture within a line of business or enterprise areaEducation, Work Experience, & KnowledgeBachelor's in technology related field or equivalent with 5+ years of technology Architecture experienceProvided mentorship to architectsOrganizational and transformational experience in an agile operating modelEstablishes strategic technology direction and architecture vision for an organizationStrong proven Software Engineering experienceDeveloped technology target state, roadmaps that aligned to Short- and Long-term business goalsProven track record of influencing senior leadershipInsurance technology experienceStrong grasp of value creation and business capability modelsInnovation and Continuous ImprovementIf Cyber;
