it.Compensation OverviewThe annual base salary range provided for
this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad
range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual
salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors,
including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the
skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the
candidate; and other conditions of employment. As part of our
comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also
eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.Salary

Emerging Technology, you'll be joining a strategic and
collaborative team that is passionate about transforming our
business and technology capabilities and paving the way for
best-in-class solutions.As a Senior Architect within the
Infrastructure and Cloud Services (ICS) Architecture organization,
you will collaborate with senior Technology and Business leaders
and apply your knowledge of modern technology to influence and
innovate solutions that impact the business. In this role we will
look to you to:- Provide consulting expertise with our division
Architects and be a champion for helping to design and implement
Collaboration and Unified Communications capabilities- Help
application teams and other critical teams within the enterprise to
ensure the completed application and platform architectures align
with the Travelers cybersecurity, resilience, scalability, and
availability standards- Demonstrate a strong passion for following
and sharing architecture and design best practices and drive
continuous technology transformations toward the zero-touch and
zero trust models to minimize technical debt- Apply your extensive
Solutions Architecture experience by helping to support multiple
initiatives across the enterprise and look for opportunities to

Do?Architecture responsibility within a major segment of Technology
Architecture in support of the ICS business unitWorks with the
Senior leadership within Technology and Business to develop
architecture priorities and direction to enable business
imperativesDisplays strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern
architecture principals and technology modernizationDrives
continuous technology transformation to minimize technical
debtCreate a partnership with Senior Software/Infrastructure
EngineeringLooks for opportunities to capitalize on technology
advances through analysis of key industry and technology trends to
assess potential impact on the enterpriseDefines and leads
technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture
solutionsHands-on prototyping of new technology solutionsPartner
with Software/Infrastructure Engineering to execute proof of
technologiesDefines target state technology architecture and
roadmapsEnsures alignment of IT initiatives with the target
stateBuilds strong partnership with engineering to ensure proper
alignment of skills with technology directionPrepares and delivers
comprehensive communications to convey architectural direction and
how it aligns with enterprise strategyOptimizes talent strategy to
ensure proper mix of resources and attracts and recruits best
talentContinuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of the

Candidate Have?Bachelor's in technology related field or equivalent
with 5+ years of technology Architecture experienceProvided
mentorship to architects and engineersOrganizational and
transformational experience in an agile operating modelEstablishes
strategic technology direction and architecture vision for an
organizationStrong proven Engineering/Architecture
experienceDeveloped technology target state, roadmaps that aligned
to Short- and Long-term business goalsProven track record of
influencing senior leadershipInsurance technology experience a
plusStrong grasp of value creation and business capability
modelsInnovation and Continuous ImprovementMust be passionate about
technology transformationsHands on experience in at least the last
3 years with: Enterprise video conferencing solutions (Microsoft
365 (Teams), Zoom), Enterprise Audio/Visual technologies
(conference room and integrations), Enterprise unified
communications and telephony solutions (Session Border Controllers
(SBC), SIP/circuits, telephone systems, integration with OMNI,
etc.)Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or
strong architecture experience on Cloud a plusGood understanding of
securityExperienced with large scale technology platformsWhat is a
Must Have?Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in work experienceSix
years of experience in enterprise, application, and/or information
architecture within a line of business or enterprise areaWhat Is in
