centralized quality assurance team, this role will be responsible
for performing coding quality assurance reviews for our Surgery
coders. This will involve being responsible for understanding not
only coding guidelines from CMS, AMA and AHA but will also be
required to become familiar with client - specific pathways in
order to timely and accurately perform Surgery quality assurance
reviews. This role will be required to perform in a fast-paced
environment and be flexible enough to be able to work independently
as well as very closely with other members of the QA team under
specific targeted parameters.This position is full-time, Monday -
Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of
6:00am - 6:00pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need,
to work occasional overtime or weekends. .*All Telecommuters will
be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter
Policy.Primary Responsibilities: -
Perform Surgery coding quality
assurance reviews on all clients and coders monthly and/or
quarterly in a Microsoft Excel - based toolHelps identify and
document coding trends to provide continuous preemptive education
requests for clients and employed resourcesBe responsible for
understanding all client pathwaysWork with management to fulfill
requests for education sessions for issues found during monthly
quality audits, as issues are found, and within the same month as
audit to prevent further poor quality from resourcesResponsible for
completing tickets from clients and coding staff as quickly and
efficiently as possibleYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your

in.Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or
higher)5+ years of surgery coding experienceProficiency with using
Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Excel and
Microsoft PowerPointCertified Professional Coder (CPC)
Certification OR equivalent professional certificationAbility to
work normal business hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm EST. It may be
necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or
weekends. .Preferred Qualifications:
Quality Assurance auditing
experienceAdditional specialty - specific certificationsPrevious

Island residents is $22.45 - $43.89.Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to education, work experience,
