2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm)
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for performing skilled repairs on complex mechanical
production equipment and systems. Performs equipment failure
analysis and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshoots, and diagnoses
equipment problems, and document in SAP. Follows standard procedure
to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and
effectiveness.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES.
Performs all phases of maintaining production equipment including
maintenance, repair, overhaul, replacement, and installation.
Ensures all equipment meets or exceeds budgeted production goals
and objectives of the Company. Assists operations to minimize
downtime by completing repairs and participating continuous
improvement. Ability to diagnose and eliminate complex equipment
issues or failures. Performs maintenance tasks as assigned keeping
equipment in good working order and completing PMs as scheduled in
SAP. Understands and assists with electrical troubleshooting and
repairs. Must maintain company safety standards and practices.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
High School of Vocational School Diploma and/or GED required.
Requires 3 years or greater experience in heavy industrial
maintenance activities, including: welding, fabricating, torch
cutting, equipment repair, pipe fitting, and sheet metal
fabrication.
Requires extensive knowledge of maintenance repairs to include but
not limited to CNC machining centers, material handling equipment,
automatic/manual machine tools, process piping,
hydraulics/pneumatics, and all production equipment.
Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and schematics.
Experience in basic computer skills.
SAP experience a plus.
Must be able to meet OSHA lifting requirements.
