Do you thrive on innovation and groundbreaking technologies? We are seeking a driven, dynamic individual to join the sales team as a Research Flow Cytometry Sales Rep!

This position is responsible for selling Cytometry hardware (capital equipment) to research customers. Accounts will include Research accounts such as academic institutions, biopharma, and government institutions. Accounts may also include research facilities involved in analysis and sorting techniques including but not limited to: multi-color flow testing, cloning, stem cell, fluorescent protein analysis, DNA and other new applications as developed. The ideal candidate would reside in Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, or Rhode Island.

Primary responsibilities are:

+ Selling Cytometry hardware to achieve quotas as assigned.

+ Account management of assigned territory accounts.

+ Seeking out new and competitive business and working with appropriate personnel to close the business.

+ Working with accounts to develop programs to expand and increase Beckman Coulter influence and presence at customer accounts.

+ Business planning to achieve performance targets and achieve quotas.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in field with 2+ years' experience OR Master's degree in a scientific field with 0-2 years' experience

+ Track record of sales success in Life Sciences is ideal

+ Solid understanding of tactical sales skills (prospecting, qualifying, closing, and growing existing customers) strongly preferred

+ Highly motivated and success driven.

+ Strong communication and presentation skills.

+ Excellent time and territory management habits.
